No Limits Amateur Boxing Club CIC

Over the last 6 years keeping an amateur boxing club open and sustainable has been a tough ask at times. With covid and the Socioeconomic changes in the local area to the gym we have have struggled by with little funding whist still charging as little as possible for sessions for under 18s. With Dave/Virtue Developments knowing the struggles we faced he asked how he could help, we decided to put some amateur boxing shows back on to try and raise some funds to which Dave backed us with sponsorship of trophies and venue hire. These turned out to be successful shows and he continued to support us once we were up and running.

As well as looking after the club he really helped one of our boxers from the club who qualified for the commonwealth Games in 2022 with sponsorship to help him with medicals and expenses when governing bodies were unable to help.

More recently we had a new canvas from Dave, our last one was becoming a health and safety risk to which Dave decided off his own back to purchase a brand new one that looks superb in the gym.

Lastly Dave has always welcomed any of our volunteer coaches to his companies first aid courses free of charge as he knows the value and impact our club has in the local community.

I honestly believe with help and sponsorship from Dave/Virtue Developments we have become a lot more sustainable as a club and provide a better service to the local children and youth in our local catchment area and long may it continue to be a healthy and prosperous journey.
